Summary

Workforce Timetracker is an independent third-party desktop application that stores all data locally on your computer. We do not collect, transmit, or store any user data on external servers.

Data Collection

The application collects no data. Specifically:

No analytics or telemetry is sent
No personal information is transmitted
No usage data is collected
No cookies are used (the application is a desktop program)
No internet connection is required or initiated by the application

Local Data Storage

The application stores the following files in the same directory as the executable:

timeentries.json — Time tracking entries
settings.json — User preferences (display name, theme, hourly rate, licence key)
customers.json — Client list

You have full control over these files. You can view, edit, back up, move, or delete them at any time. No data is encrypted or locked by the application.

Licence Validation

Licence keys are validated locally using cryptographic signatures (HMAC-SHA256). No server is contacted during licence validation. The licence key is stored in your local settings.json file.

Payment Processing

If you purchase a licence, payment is processed by our payment partner (a third-party payment processor). Their privacy policy governs the payment transaction. We receive only your email address and organisation name for the sole purpose of generating your licence key. We do not store payment card details.

Third-Party Services

The application does not integrate with, send data to, or receive data from any third-party service during normal operation. It does not connect to Salesforce, Inc. or any other external platform.

Website Analytics

This website (workforcetimetracker.com) does not use cookies or tracking scripts. No third-party analytics services are loaded.

Children's Privacy

This product is intended for professional business use and is not directed at children under 16 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page with the new effective date. Since the application collects no data, material changes are unlikely.
